These Terms of Use ("Terms") are a contract between you and Graphikate Private Limited ("Graphikate", "we", "us"), the Singapore company that builds and operates Ori — Your AI Pet Companion ("Ori", "the App"). By creating an account or using Ori, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use Ori.
We try to write contracts the way we'd want to read them. If anything is unclear, email us at support@oripet.co.
The short version
- Ori is an AI assistant for pet owners. It gives you guidance, logs your pet's care, and helps you find services. It is not a vet.
- You own the content you put into Ori (your pet's records, your photos, your posts). You give us permission to store and process it so the app works.
- Ori+ is a paid subscription through Apple's In-App Purchase. Apple bills you, not us. Cancel anytime in iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.
- Don't upload illegal content, harass other users, attempt to break the service, or misuse Ori's AI in harmful ways. We can suspend or delete accounts that do.
- Ori is provided "as is." We'll do our best, but we can't promise it's perfect. Your pet's health decisions are yours and your vet's — not Ori's.
1. Who can use Ori
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you are between 13 and 18 (or the age of majority in your country), a parent or guardian should review these Terms with you.
You're responsible for the security of your account. Choose a strong password, don't share your credentials, and tell us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.
2. Your content
You own your content. Photos of your pet, health logs, journal entries, posts, messages to Ori — all of it belongs to you.
To make Ori work, you grant Graphikate a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to store, process, display, and transmit your content for the purpose of operating Ori for you. This licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except for backups that expire within 30 days.
If you publish a public post, you additionally grant other users the ability to view, react to, and comment on it through the community features.
You promise that your content is yours to share — you either created it or have permission — and that it doesn't infringe anyone's rights.
3. Acceptable use
Don't use Ori to:
- Upload illegal, abusive, harassing, defamatory, or hateful content
- Impersonate another person or misrepresent your relationship with anyone
- Upload content depicting cruelty to animals, harmful veterinary practices, or anything that puts pet welfare at risk
- Send spam, unsolicited marketing, or chain messages
- Scrape, reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract Ori's source code, AI prompts, or training data
- Probe, scan, or test the security of the service without permission
- Use bots or automated tools to create accounts, post content, or interact with other users
- Try to get Ori's AI to generate content that is illegal, harmful, or designed to circumvent its safety guardrails
- Use Ori to provide veterinary services, sell prescription medications, or operate a commercial veterinary practice without our written agreement
- Violate any applicable law
We can remove content, suspend accounts, or terminate accounts that break these rules. We'll try to warn you first unless the violation is serious or illegal.
4. Ori+ subscription (paid plan)
Ori has a free tier. Ori+ unlocks additional features and is offered as an auto-renewing subscription through Apple's In-App Purchase system.
Pricing and billing
- Monthly: SGD 9.90 per month, with a 14-day free trial for new subscribers
- Annual: SGD 79 per year, with a 14-day free trial for new subscribers
- Apple is the merchant of record. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account when you confirm the purchase (or at the end of the free trial, whichever comes first).
- Your subscription automatically renews for the same period unless you turn off auto-renewal at least 24 hours before the current period ends.
- Your Apple ID account is charged for renewal within 24 hours of the end of the current period.
How to cancel
You can cancel anytime from your Apple ID settings:
Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions → Ori+ → Cancel Subscription
Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You'll keep Ori+ access until then. We do not pro-rate or refund the unused portion of a paid period.
Free trial
You can cancel before the trial ends to avoid being charged. If you don't cancel, your Apple ID will be automatically charged for the subscription when the trial ends. Free trials are available to new subscribers only. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited if you subscribe to the same tier before the trial ends.
Plan changes
We may change subscription prices, the composition of a plan, the features included in a plan, the structure of plans offered, or introduce new paid tiers. We'll notify you through the app and email at least 30 days before a price change to your current plan takes effect. Price changes don't apply to your current billing period. Changes to feature inclusion or plan composition may take effect on the next billing period or, where required by law, with appropriate notice.
Refunds
All subscription payments are processed by Apple, and refunds are governed by Apple's refund policy. To request a refund, go to reportaproblem.apple.com. We do not process subscription refunds directly and any refund dispute must be raised with Apple. Where mandatory consumer law in your jurisdiction grants you a statutory cooling-off or refund right that overrides this section, that right is preserved to the minimum extent required by that law.
5. AI, Ori, and your pet's health
Ori's AI features are powered by third-party language models — DeepSeek for routine chat, Anthropic Claude for emergency triage, Google Gemini Flash-Lite for Pet Pantry product OCR, and OpenAI for Ori's spoken responses on iOS (TTS) and pet-fact memory extraction. Voice transcription on iOS runs on your device using Apple's Speech framework — your voice audio does not leave your phone. On Android, speech is transcribed by your device's Google speech service, which may process the audio on Google's servers depending on your device and language — Ori receives only the resulting text. See the Privacy Policy for details on what's sent and where.
Ori is not a veterinarian and Ori's advice is not medical advice. Ori is an AI assistant that gives general information and guidance based on what you tell it, pet care literature, and common knowledge. It cannot examine your pet, run tests, or make a diagnosis.
Always consult a licensed veterinarian for any medical concern, symptom, injury, or emergency. If your pet is in distress, go to a vet immediately — don't wait for Ori's reply. Do not delay seeking veterinary care because Ori said something looked fine.
You are solely responsible for all care decisions for your pet. Ori is informational only and does not assume any duty of care toward you or your pet. Nothing Ori outputs — whether by text, voice, image analysis, urgency level, suggestion chip, or product check — is veterinary advice, a diagnosis, a treatment plan, or a prescription. The decision to act on, ignore, modify, or seek a second opinion about anything Ori says rests entirely with you and, where appropriate, with a licensed veterinarian who has personally examined your pet.
AI responses can be wrong, outdated, or miss context. Use your judgement. Ori's guidance is one input among many — it doesn't replace professional veterinary care. You use the AI features at your own risk. To the extent permitted by law, Graphikate is not liable for any harm to your pet or to you arising from reliance on AI output.
6. Our intellectual property
"Ori", the Ori orb mark, the Ori name, the app design, the code, the AI prompts, and the brand are the property of Graphikate Private Limited. You can use Ori for its intended purpose — you can't copy, resell, or pass off our work as your own.
7. Termination
You can terminate your account anytime from Settings → Account → Delete Account. Deletion requires you to confirm a link we email to your registered address; the account then enters a 7-day grace period during which you can cancel. After grace, your data is hard-deleted, files on Cloudflare R2 are purged, videos on Cloudflare Stream are removed, and your contact is removed from Resend. Nightly backups age out on a 30-day rolling schedule.
We can suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, if we're required to by law, or if we believe your use puts other users or the service at risk. We may also refuse or withdraw access at our sole discretion if we believe your use of the service creates security, legal, financial, reputational, or operational risk for Graphikate, our service providers, or other users. For serious violations, illegal activity, fraud, regulator requests, third-party vendor takedowns, or any threat to the safety or integrity of the service, we may act immediately and without prior notice.
If you have an active Ori+ subscription when we terminate your account for reasons not caused by your violation, you may request a refund from Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. Refund decisions rest with Apple.
We are not obliged to retain or restore any data after termination beyond the retention windows described in this section and the Privacy Policy.
8. Disclaimers
Ori is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we make no warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
We do not guarantee that Ori will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that the information it provides is accurate or complete. You use Ori at your own risk.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Graphikate, its owners, and its staff are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of Ori, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profit, or harm to your pet arising from reliance on AI advice.
Our total aggregate liability to you for any and all claims arising out of these Terms or your use of Ori will not exceed the lesser of (a) the amount you paid Graphikate in the 12 months before the claim arose, or (b) SGD 100.
Some jurisdictions don't allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages — in that case, the above exclusions may not apply to you.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for: (a) death or personal injury caused by our negligence; (b) fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; (c) gross negligence; (d) wilful misconduct; or (e) any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under the Unfair Contract Terms Act 1977 (Singapore), the Consumer Protection (Fair Trading) Act (Singapore), or equivalent mandatory consumer-protection law in your jurisdiction.
10. Indemnity
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Graphikate, its officers, directors, employees, agents, and service providers from and against any and all third-party claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees and disbursements at trial and on appeal) arising out of or related to (a) your breach of these Terms, (b) content you upload, store, share, or transmit through Ori, (c) your misuse of the service, (d) your violation of any law or the rights of any third party, including any intellectual property right, (e) your reliance on Ori's AI output to make any decision affecting any pet, person, or property — including but not limited to care, medication, dietary, behavioural, financial, or safety decisions, or (f) any interaction you have with other users through Ori's community, household-sharing, or messaging features.
Graphikate will give you prompt written notice of any such claim and reasonable cooperation in the defence at your expense. You may not settle any claim affecting Graphikate without Graphikate's prior written consent. This indemnity does not apply to claims arising from Graphikate's gross negligence, fraud, or wilful misconduct.
11. Governing law and dispute resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore.
Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms, including any question regarding their existence, validity, or termination, will first be addressed by good-faith negotiation between you and Graphikate. If not resolved within 30 days, the dispute will be referred to and finally resolved by arbitration administered by the Singapore International Arbitration Centre (SIAC) under the SIAC Rules in force at the time. The seat of arbitration is Singapore. The tribunal will consist of one arbitrator. The language of the arbitration is English.
Class action waiver. You and Graphikate each agree that any dispute will be brought only in an individual capacity, and not as a plaintiff or class member in any purported class, consolidated, collective, or representative proceeding. The arbitrator may not consolidate the claims of more than one person, may not preside over any form of class or representative proceeding, and may award relief only in favour of the individual party seeking relief and only to the extent necessary to provide relief warranted by that party's individual claim. You and Graphikate each waive any right to a trial by jury and any right to participate in a class action, collective action, or representative action against the other.
If a court or arbitrator decides that this class action waiver is unenforceable as to any particular claim or remedy in your jurisdiction, then that claim or remedy (and only that claim or remedy) will be severed from arbitration and brought in a court of competent jurisdiction; the remainder of this section, including the arbitration agreement and the waiver as applied to all other claims, will remain in full force and effect.
Nothing in this section prevents either party from seeking urgent injunctive relief from a court of competent jurisdiction.
If you are a consumer in a jurisdiction where mandatory consumer protection law gives you the right to bring a claim in your local courts, or where a class, collective, or representative-action waiver is unenforceable, that right is preserved to the minimum extent required by that law.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms over time. When we make significant changes, we'll notify you through the app or by email at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of Ori after the change date means you accept the updated Terms. If you don't accept them, delete your account before the change takes effect.

14. Severability, entire agreement, waiver, and assignment
Severability. If any provision of these Terms is held invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable by a court or arbitrator of competent jurisdiction, that provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, or, if it cannot be modified, severed. The remaining provisions remain in full force and effect.
Entire agreement. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, the App Store standard end-user licence agreement (or equivalent on other platforms), any in-product disclosures, and any written agreement you sign with Graphikate, constitute the entire agreement between you and Graphikate regarding Ori. They supersede any prior or contemporaneous understanding, proposal, representation, or marketing statement.
No waiver. Our failure or delay in enforcing any provision of these Terms is not a waiver of that provision or any other provision. A waiver is only effective if in writing and signed by an authorised representative of Graphikate.
Assignment. You may not assign, transfer, or sub-licence your rights or obligations under these Terms, in whole or in part, without our prior written consent. We may assign or transfer our rights and obligations under these Terms, in whole or in part, to (a) an affiliate, (b) a successor in connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganisation, or sale of all or substantially all of our assets or business, or (c) any party with your reasonable interests preserved, in each case without your further consent.
No partnership. These Terms do not create any agency, partnership, joint venture, employment, fiduciary, or franchise relationship between you and Graphikate.
Independent professional advice. Nothing in these Terms or in Ori is a substitute for advice from a licensed veterinarian, lawyer, financial adviser, or other qualified professional.
15. Force majeure
Graphikate is not liable for any failure or delay in performing under these Terms caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, pandemic, epidemic, war, terrorism, civil unrest, government action or regulation, court order, embargo, fire, flood, earthquake, internet or telecommunications outage, failure or modification of any third-party service we depend on (including hyperscaler cloud providers, AI providers, payment networks, app marketplaces, or DNS providers), labour disputes, supply-chain disruption, or cyberattack. Our obligations are suspended for the duration of the event and resume when it is resolved.
16. Reservation of rights
All rights not expressly granted to you under these Terms are reserved by Graphikate. No implied licences are granted, by estoppel or otherwise. Use of Ori does not grant you any right, title, or interest in the Ori service, its content, its trademarks, its underlying software, its AI prompts and configurations, or any other intellectual property of Graphikate or our service providers. You may not remove, obscure, or alter any proprietary notices.
